AWP can reset passwords in case a user forgot the password or if the password is expired. This feature must be enabled by the administrator.

The login dialog shows the according error message and offers a link to start the reset procedure:

After clicking the link the user can enter his login name. AWP will create a reset link for the entered name and send it to the email address stored for the entered name.

When the user clicks the link a new page opens which allows the user to enter his new password:

After the password has been updated, AWP shows the related message:

The sent link expires after 24 hours if the user does not reset the password.
