Opening the record's Information View allows a user with the according permission to initiate the deletion the record and its asset.

Clicking the trashcan icon opens the confirmation dialog to ensure no record is deleted accidentally:

After the checkbox is enabled the Delete button is enabled and can be clicked by the user to delete the record and the asset.
