AWP offers an advanced feature set when working with String List fields.
When editing a record with a Record View Set where a single-select String List field is available for editing, the following user interface is visible initially:
Clicking the magic wand opens an additional input field where the user can start typing to find values from the existing String List values. A type-ahead popup appears for matching entries allowing the user to quickly select the wanted value:
AWP can also manage the available values of a String List field by adding new values or renaming existing values.
In case the current user has been given permission by the AWP administrator he can also add new values to the list of String List values. He types the new value into the input box and then uses the small menu at the end of the input to select the “Add new value” option:
which will create the new value and automatically selects it for the currently edited record:
In case the current user has been given permission by the AWP administrator he can also rename existing values. As the first step the user selects the value he wants to rename, then he types the new name into the input box and uses the small menu at the end of the input to select the “Rename current value” option:

Typing in the search field immediately removes non-matching items from the list to make it easier to select values from a long list.
AWP can also manage the available values of a String List field by adding new values or renaming existing values.
In case the current user has been given permission by the AWP administrator he can also add new values to the list of String List values. He types the new value into the input box and then uses the small menu at the end of the input to select the “Add new value” option:
which will create the new value and present it to the user so he can decide whether the value should be selected:
In case the current user has been given permission by the AWP administrator he can also rename existing values. Hovering each line shows a little icon which, when clicked, opens the editor for that value:
Pressing Enter or clicking the Rename icon saves the changes and closes the editor. To cancel the editing just click somewhere outside the editor box.
