AVP

Attention Video Player

Video out of the media bank

A standalone video player that streams a video object from Fylr with every stream quality and subtitle track stored on the source. Use it as it is, or embed it in an external CMS so the video plays where it needs to play — without copying the file around.

Features

  • Streams directly from the object in Fylr
  • Supports every stored stream quality
  • Subtitles from the source object
  • Embeddable in an external CMS
  • Also works as a standalone player

About the product

Video is the file type that most often ends up in five places. It is too big to send, it has to be converted for each channel, and then suddenly nobody knows which version is the right one.

One source, many places

AVP streams directly from the video object in Fylr. The file stays in one place and the player fetches it from there — including when the video has to appear on a website running on something else entirely.

Every stream quality stored on the source object is available, so playback can follow whatever connection the viewer has.

Subtitles

Subtitles held on the source object carry over into the player. In practice that is the precondition for video on public websites meeting accessibility requirements.

Embedding

AVP can be used as a standalone player or placed inside an external CMS. The editor points at the object; the rest takes care of itself.
